Plus Sized Shorts and Swimwear

My cousin recently gained 20 lbs. No, she is not pregnant; rather, she developed a love affair with sweets and has consistently gaining weight ever since.

My cousin is a very attractive woman, and even with the extra weight, she can still turn a lot of heads. The reason? Her perfectly molded, long and shapely pair of legs!

They maintained their shape ever after a little weight gain, and my cousin, knowing that her legs are her greatest asset, asked me to go shopping with her to find some cute and stylish plus size shorts.

My cousin loves to wear high-cut shorts, so I was not really positive that we would be able to find a flattering pair of plus sized shorts that would cater to her taste.

But I was clearly mistaken! When we browsed through the selection at several of her favorite stores (such as Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug and Torrid), the choices were immense!

My cousin was so happy to see that there were a lot of options for shorts for fuller figured women.

She purchased several pairs in different lengths - from mid-thigh to capri length. She even bought one pair of plus size shorts that looked like a denim mini skirt and it did wonders to her legs!

I was really happy that we were able to find several styles that suited her tastes and fun fashion sense. Initially, I was worried that we might end up with nothing and my cousin would be disappointed.

The result was the opposite though, and there were so many fashionable options to choose from in larger sizes that she purchased dresses, skirts, tops, and even swimsuits!

Plus sized fashion has really come a long way, as it lets women be who they are without having to compromise on style.

There's no pressure in trying to hide your tummy or wearing dark and dreary colors in order to look slimmer.

In this day and age, I think it is most important to be comfortable in your own skin, whether you're wearing a glamorous dress or a pair of summery plus size shorts!
