Found in the leaves, roots, or fruits of specific herbs, herbal treatments for bacterial vaginosis, actually serve to strengthen the immune system with their curing properties.

A few of the herbal treatments for vaginosis that work well are:

Number one is garlic. It is considered by many to be nature's antibiotic, and is the greatest herbal treatment for bacterial vaginosis. Generally, once or twice a day, they must be taken in supplement form, either vaginally or orally. There are tremendous antibiotic and antibacterial properties that can be found in garlic, and it cures the disease, and also stops it from coming back.

Number two is Tea Tree Oil. It has excellent antimicrobial properties, and can be either put directly on a tampon, or added to douches. This can also be put in a bath that is full of apple cider vinegar.

Number three is known as Goldenseal. This is a different kind of herbal bacterial vaginosis treatment. There are specific chemicals that are found in Goldenseal that work well in the fight against vaginosis and Candida fungus, that are always found in the vaginal membranes. 500 milligrams of this capsule taken one or two times a day, can successfully treat bacterial vaginosis.

Using goldenseal root, mullein, apple cider vinegar, and raspberry leaf, as well as a drop of tea tree oil made into an herbal douche, is an excellent way to rid yourself of this disease. Try soaking a dry tracheal leaf in hot water, and drink one teaspoonful before going to sleep, to help restore the normal fluid flows in your body.
